About Haymapr.com

Haymapr is a geo-aware search engine for hay, haylage, shavings, silage and straw. It helps you find local hay for sale.

It all started when David's Mum needed hay in a hurry, and discovered that there was no easy way to find it on the internet.

The idea of a hay search engine was formed. With a lot of polish this idea became Haymapr.com

Haymapr has performed 50843 searches, has 90 active sellers and has a database of 113 active listings.

Haymapr's Privacy Policy

If you are listing hay:

If you are listing hay on Haymapr we assume that any information you enter into the website is for public display (with the exception of things we clearly state that we will keep secret).

We are particularly picky about email addresses. It is our policy never to publicly display your email address. This is to prevent anyone finding your address and sending you spam.

Your details, including your email address, will never be released in bulk to anyone else. (i.e. we won't sell it.)

Haymapr runs on Google's servers (Google App Engine). That means that Google stores our data (your details) and has access to it. (They asked us to say that.)

Because we are hosted by Google App Engine we also need to make you aware of App Engine's Terms of Service, App Engine's Privacy Policy and Google's overall privacy and personal information policies.

(Google also asked us to make sure that you don't use Haymapr to design, develop, produce or use missiles, chemical or biological weapons. So, please, lets stick to hay.)

If you are searching for hay:

If you are searching for hay, please assume that your search is logged, along with as much information as we can pick up along the way to help us make the site better. Data about your search will be stripped of any personal information and aggregated for further analysis (e.g. mapping geographical demand). The results of our analysis will be provided to other parties.

If you provide us with your email address, you implicitly allow us to send you mail. First we will answer your questions, then we may send you two additional emails. One to get feedback on individual sellers (like Ebay's feedback); the other to make sure that you found what you were looking for. This is done by hand, limiting the number of emails we send, so don't expect to receive extra emails from us.

If you provide your email address to contact a seller, they will be provided with your email address. Other than that, your email address will never be released to anyone else.
